Nike Kobe 9 Elite Low Protro Moonwalker (2025)

The outsole of the Nike Kobe 9 Elite Low Protro Moonwalker features a graphic of the Moon’s surface. The Cave Purple upper, in turn, pays tribute to pop music, and Nike links the Hyper Grape and Cave Purple color combination to music and its ability to transcend decades. Nike released this pair on October 30, 2025.

React foam, carbon fiber and traction blades

The IM0465-500 version has an insertable React foam midsole, which Nike says provides responsive cushioning. W On the same outsole featuring the Moon, the low-top Kobe 9 Elite has a carbon-fiber plate. Improved traction blades run along the inside of the shoe.
