UGG: slippers, boots, and sneakers

UGG assigns its models to different categories: Tazz and Tasman are slippers, according to the brand; Classic Ultra Mini and Classic Ultra Mini Platform are boots; and Lowmel is a sneaker. You can also find individual models in the collections UGG Tazz, UGG Tasman, UGG Ultra Mini and UGG Lowmel.

Are UGG Tazz slippers or boots?

UGG places Tazz in the slippers category and describes it as a clog with a raised 1.75-inch platform, or about 4.4 cm. The brand adds that if you like Tasman, you'll like Tazz too.

What is the difference between UGG Tazz and Tazz 2?

Tazz II keeps the 1.75-inch platform, but has a 10 mm sheepskin lining instead of UGGplush and a sole with a more rounded, rocker-style profile. UGG calls it a slip-on, and on its UK website describes its sole as suitable for indoor and outdoor wear.

Are UGG Tazz slippers comfortable?

Comfort comes down to the materials: Tazz has a suede upper, a 10 mm UGGplush lining and insole, a midsole made of EVA, and an outsole made of sugarcane EVA or Treadlite by UGG.

Are UGG Tasman slippers for winter?

UGG doesn't say that Tasman is designed for winter. However, the model has thicker lining than Tazz (17 mm versus 10 mm), and on the Tasman II page, UGG says that Tasman works well indoors and outdoors.

Classic Ultra Mini, Ultra Mini Platform and Lowmel

Classic Ultra Mini has a 3.5-inch (approx. 8.9 cm) shaft made from 17 mm twinface sheepskin, a 17 mm sheepskin lining and insole, and a factory-applied water-repellent treatment. Classic Ultra Mini Platform has the same shaft height, a 2-inch (approx. 5.1 cm) platform, and a suede upper. W Collection: Ultra Mini Black, Chestnut and Brown Driftwood, Palace Navy Camo and Pink Camo, and Ultra Mini Platform Black, Chestnut, Sand and Burnt Cedar. There are also Classic Mini II (Chestnut, Grey and Burnt Cedar) and Classic Mini Dipper Puffer.

UGG Lowmel According to UGG, these sneakers have suede uppers with recycled ballistic canvas mesh and a mesh forefoot designed to make them comfortable to wear on warm days. W Collection: Black, Chestnut, Hickory, Sand and Lowmel Lo, alongside Neumel Platform Chelsea, RetroFi Low and Pumped Slide.

How does UGG Tasman sizing run?

According to UGG, Tasman is available only in whole sizes and runs true to size. If you're between sizes, UGG recommends sizing down for a snugger fit or up for a looser fit.

For Classic Ultra Mini, UGG notes that Classic styles may feel slightly snug at first, and that the sheepskin may stretch and mold to your foot over time.
