The Powerpuff Girls x Nike SB Dunk Low "Buttercup"

The SB Dunk Low Powerpuff Girls Buttercup was inspired by the heroine whose specialties are strength and fighting. The green upper has a glossy finish, mesh tongues, and perforations on the toe, while the Swooshes, midsole, and laces are blue. Reflective 3M accents are placed throughout the shoe, and the outsole is made of green, translucent rubber.

Buttercup’s name appears on the tongue labels beneath the Nike SB logo, in the show’s distinctive typeface. Her large green eyes, with a mouth below them, decorate the heels, while the insoles feature Mojo Jojo and comic-book speech bubbles from a fight.

Nike Skateboarding created this collaboration for The Powerpuff Girls’ 25th anniversary. Craig McCracken had already introduced the characters in 1992 in the film “Whoopass Stew.” The skate shop release was on December 14, 2023, with the SNKRS app release following on December 15.

SB Dunk Lows run small, so Nike recommends ordering half a size larger than usual.
