Yeezy 500 Desert Rat Super Moon Yellow

The entire layered upper of the Yeezy 500 Super Moon Yellow sneakers features a single soft, buttery shade of yellow, despite combining cow suede, premium leather, mesh, and nubuck. Reflective piping brightens this muted color. The chunky midsole, with the Adiprene cushioning typical of the Yeezy 500, is yellow too.

The running-inspired silhouette of the Yeezy 500, previously called the Desert Rat 500, references Kobe Bryant's shoes, and Super Moon Yellow presents it in another tonal version.

Super Moon Yellow first released in a Yeezy apparel bundle

This pair was initially sold exclusively as part of a Yeezy apparel bundle. A standalone release, without the apparel, was set for June 9, 2018, through adidas channels and Yeezy Supply. The colorway was scheduled to return on August 2, 2022, as part of Yeezy Day, on the adidas Confirmed app and YeezySupply.com.
