Air Jordan 4 Retro Lakers

The Air Jordan 4 Lakers Imperial Purple sneakers, dressed in deep purple, feature a premium nubuck upper. Yellow Jumpman logos and a speckled Nike Air wordmark on the heel stand out against the purple backdrop, while yellow accents also appear on the insoles. University Gold accents appear on the outsole.

The Nike Air logo on the heel connects this pair to the original Air Jordan 4, which became the first in the line to release worldwide in 1989.

Planned Los Angeles launch

The first pairs were set to go on sale in Los Angeles on February 14, 2026, during All-Star Weekend, with the global release scheduled for March 7.

Nike recommends sticking with your usual size in the Air Jordan 4 Retro if you have a standard foot shape, and suggests going up half a size for wider feet. For men's sizes, Nike adds that many people find the forefoot narrower around the metatarsals.
